The following general rules and regulations apply to any and all members in AAO/AASF Medic Gaming Squad/Clan (hereafter known as [Medic], "The [Medic] Clan", clan, squad) regardless of experience, Rank, or Standing. Failure to abide by any of the following rules may result in corrective action taken against the member including, but not limited to loss of standing, loss of rank, probation, and/or ejection from the clan.
1.0 Communication:
Pending Applicants and Members should post a message every couple weeks (at least) on our forum just to let us know you are still around and active in our squad. If you are going to be away from playing for a while, please post a little note on our Forums, something like "I am Going on vacation, see you in 2 weeks" or " I am still alive", etc.
2.0 Complaints:
If you have a complaint or suggestion about a [Medic] activity, policy, or a member, contact a Board of Directors Member, but before you start bashing someone, just know that the "hard workers" in this squad are highly valued over any whiner. . Eventually, all old problems must will be buried as constantly digging old things up is a waste of time.
3.0 Conduct:
Members must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner in any publicly viewable area, these areas include web sites, forums, game servers, or any other location or medium that a non-member of the clan can view and/or listen to. This includes, but is not limited to the following items:
3.1. Cursing towards another player or clan.
3.2. Derogatory remarks towards another player or clan (even in self defense).
3.3. Racial slurs.
3.4. "Flaming" another player or clan.
3.5. Warring/Taunting another player or clan.
3.6. Intentional Team Killing.
3.7. Disobeying Rules for the Server/ Website
3.8 Age:
Members must be 18 years of age or older. Exceptions may be made with the approval of the Board of Directors. No exception can be made for children under the age of 13.
4.0 Impersonation:
Any person impersonating a Squad/Clan Official in a public server will be subject to corrective action with the possibility of removal from the squad.
5.0 Names:
Name changes must be discussed with the Board of Directors before proceeding with change.
6.0 Illegal Activities:
Members may not conduct illegal activities, including distributing information or files (including but not limited to pirated software, pornography, etc.) which supports illegal activities, using clan resources including, but not limited to, clan web servers/forums, ftp servers, and/or game servers.
7.0 Cheating:
Cheating or using known or unknown exploits in any game is expressly prohibited.
8.0 Confidentiality:
Members may not release confidential information to non-members without express permission of the Board of Directors.
8.1 Passwords and Web Addresses:
NEVER give out a [Medic] Clan password or secret URL (web address) to anyone including other Members of the clan/squad, leaders, or even Board Members. To ensure that NO one is ever TRICKED into sending their password out to a hacker, NO ONE is allowed to "second hand" give out Passwords or secret URLs (web addresses). Passwords will only be sent one way....From a board member.
9.0 Multiple Clans:
Members of [Medic] may not be a member of another clan/squad. Members may participate in another clan/squad if [Medic] is not involved in any game the other clan/squad is involved in. If [Medic] subsequently becomes involved in a game that the other clan is involved in, or the other clan becomes involved in a game in which [Medic] is involved in, you must resign from either [Medic] or the other clan/squad. Members must inform the Board of Directors if they are currently or become involved in another clan/squad.
10.0 Messengers:
Members of [Medic] are required to obtain an Screen Name on either MSN Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) if you do not have one already. You may download MSN Messenger from the links on the downloads page.
10.1 E-Mail:
Applicants are required to provide their "real" personal e-mail address and it must be valid. Members are required to register on the forums with their real e-mail address and must be valid. Addresses from services such as Yahoo and Hotmail are not advised.
